When you market your home, government legislation now makes it mandatory to have a Home Information Pack (HIP) available to prospective purchasers. This pack contains the land registry title deeds for the property as well as local authority searches.

Within the HIP, an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is also required. This can only be provided by a fully qualified and accredited Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) who will need to visit and inspect your property. As the assessor will enter all parts of your home it is essential for your peace of mind that this inspector is of the highest calibre.

We at Southern Energy Assessments (SEA) are all fully qualified DEA’s who will visit you. We do not employ anyone else to do these inspections and we do not use anonymous “panels” for inspections as is common with many of the so called “national” HIP providers.
